Frozen Fish Food Ltd’s founder, Ian Taylor, has over 33 years of experience in the aquatic hobby. He has had numerous aquariums of various sizes and types, including a 4000 litre mixed reef marine aquarium.

Ian’s passion for fish started at the age of 11 when he bought his first aquarium with birthday money. Since then, he successfully bred American Cichlids such as Green Severums, Texas, and Firemouths, and had many successful planted freshwater and mixed reef marine aquariums.

Over the years, Ian has learned that a good, varied diet with good nutrition is essential for keeping fish healthy, colourful, and happy. He believes that after water quality, a fish’s diet is the most important factor in its well-being.

In 2013, Ian Taylor acquired UK Aquatics Ltd with the goal of transforming the store into one of Blackpool’s most successful marine and freshwater aquatic stores. His vision was to create a friendly, helpful, and honest environment that provided reliable information to customers, rather than being solely focused on making sales with the health of his livestock being paramount.

Over the past 10 years, Ian has successfully achieved his goal. UK Aquatics Ltd has become a well-known and respected aquatic store in the Blackpool area, thanks to Ian’s passion for the hobby and dedication to healthy livestock and customer satisfaction.

With his extensive knowledge of dietary requirements and passion for fish, Ian saw an opportunity to create Frozen Fish Food Ltd in May 2019.
